Nobody can remove me as king, I will rule for 67 years – Oluwo of Iwo

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has flaunted that he would go through 67 years more on the seat.

The ruler expressed this on Friday while addressing his allies at his place.

Occupants of the town swarmed to his royal residence on a solidarity stroll, contrary to the request by the 12 kingmakers asking the Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, to eliminate him from the seat over supposed wrongdoing.

"I have 67 additional years to spend on the seat. I will live for a long time. The individuals who need me out and need to become Oluwo, should hold up in light of the fact that this is my time.

"With this group that occupied with this solidarity walk, clearly I am in the acceptable books of my kin. That is the reason you are for the most part remaining on the side of me.

"On the off chance that I had not been acceptable my kin, you would have stoned me today. In as much as I am being cherished by my kin, it's not possible for anyone to eliminate me from being the lord," Oba Akanbi said.
